Stefan Pollak,
Sustainable Architecture Programming

Stefan, since 1999, has been entrusted with the design and administration of buildings of social commitment in Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Brazil and Guatemala. He has cooperated on projects in the Ivory Coast and Peru. Between 2011 and 2013, after the earthquake in L'Aquila, he worked as site manager for the conversion of Nonna's Nursery School into a venue for cultural events, a project promoted by the German embassy in Rome. Stefan teaches at the University of Roma Tre and at the Catholic University of America on Rome. His research is mainly aimed at the creation of buildings with low environmental impact and cooperative design methods. On these topics he has published reports for national and international conferences and two essays. He also holds training courses for students, professionals and representatives of local communities.
